Why do I need marketing? Isn't it just about telling our customers we're here?

Imagine you're booking a holiday and you've received all the holiday brochures and have them spread out in front of you. You've chosen the resort and the hotel and find it listed in two brochures, both at the same price. You choose one tour company over the other, why? Because the company you chose had a brochure that sold it to you, did it look better or glossier, probably not. It was more likely that it just gave you the impression of being more professional, giving you a feeling of better value and you felt more comfortable with it.
It is often said in sales training that people buy people not products, in other words if you like and assimilate with the salesman you are more likely to buy. It's the same with your sales literature.

Now you may love your literature and company image, but have you ever looked into how your customers perceive you. If you are reading this you would probably like to increase your sales, either from existing customers or new ones. I can help you do that.
